One Works will be featured at the world’s leading international airport and airline terminal conference and exhibition, presenting, on Friday April 20th, the case studies of Linate "How Intermodality Improves the quality of the terminal" and Bergamo "Re-design and re-build a fast growing Terminal".



As part of the Citylife project - a new park for Milan, which will be realized in view of EXPO 2015, One Works has been commissioned to design the retail area between the towers of Hadid, Libeskind, and Isozaki.





The final Master plan of the rail accessibility to Bergamo Airport, delivered by One Works, project co-financed by the European Commission, has been approved by the Steering Committee formed by ENAC – Italian Civil Aviation Authority- and SACBO – Bergamo airport managing company-

One Works assists Impregilo in the participation to the tender for the privatization of Brazil airports. Aiming at increasing the capacity in view of the great events of 2014 (FIFA World Cup) and 2016 (Olympics), ANAC, the Civil Aviation Authority, is going to conclude the first stages of the procurement for the assignment of the  concession of the airports of Guarulhos - São Paulo; of Viracopos in the city of Campinas - Sao Paulo; and Brasilia. The 25 years concession should be assigned within the first months of the year to begin construction works of the new terminals, runways and aprons, which are expected to be ready in very short time.

For the third year in a row Giulio De Carli, CEO of One Works, will participate as speaker in the leading international air transport meeting event, ACI Europe and Asia-Pacific Airport  Exchange, that will be held in Abu Dhabi next week. On November 29th he will present “Developing the 'optimal' solution in planning airport accessibility”, focusing on the importance of intermodality as key airport facility.

The list of top 50 Architecture firms  in Italy, based on 2010 turnover, has been published on Progetti e Concorsi, Il Sole 24 Ore. One Works gained one position compared to 2009 ranking, placing 5^th this year.

One Works today presented  the Feasibility Study “The Port of Monfalcone as attractor and growth engine” at the Council Chamber of the Province of Gorizia, in the presence of the major local and regional authorities. The presentation of the Study followed the speech of Francesco Giacobone, of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, that introduced the theme “The network of the cities and their territories’. A further presentation of the Study will take place on November 10^th at Urbanpromo, urban and territorial marketing exhibition, that will be held in Bologna November 9^th to 11^th.

Today One Works has participated, as technical consultant of SAVE, at the official presentation of the results of the Feasibility Study for the Intermodal Node of Venice Marco Polo Airport. Co-financed by the TEN-T European program, the Study investigates the technical, financial and management feasibility of the intermodality between air / rail / road / water within the airport site, illustrating the future steps for development of the projects.

Today, during the press conference called by SAB, Bologna Airport Operating Company, was annunced that the works for the restyling of terminal will start on November 7th, under the supervision of One Works, that successfully carried out the refurbishment and extension design project. The works will last two years, without ever stopping the airport operations.

One Works will attend the 21st Conference on Air-Rail Intermodality, organized for the first time in Italy by IARO, International Air Rail Organization. Participants from over 15 countries will meet at the Venice Marco Polo Airport on 26 and 27 October to review key market, operational and technical issues for the air-rail industry. Giulio De Carli, One Works Managing Partner, will illustrate the intermodal development within the Italian airports, presenting the long term vision and ongoing projects.

One Works is consultant for the development of Saudi Arabia Abha Airport, in support to Rafael Vinoly Architects and EDGE. Today One Works will take part at the presentation of the project and the kick-off meeting organized by GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation).

OW, together with Morganti and Impresa Rosso construction companies, has participated at the International Housing Contest promoted by Milan Municipality. Out of 122 selected for the Repertory of high performances and low cost houses, One Work’s project is one of the 27 awarded with 4 stars, the highest grade.

One Works has just concluded the Feasibility Study for the Monfalcone seaport. The final report, submitted today to the Provincial Administration of Gorizia, will be forwarded to the Ministry of Transport. The project will be presented at Urbanpromo, urban and territorial marketing exhibition, that will be held in Bologna November 9th to 11th.
