Air Tech Italy appoints Giulio De Carli as President

Following the launch of the new Air Tech Italy website, we are pleased to share news of One Works Managing Partner, Giulio De Carli’s recent appointment as President.

With over 30 years' experience in masterplanning, planning and design of transport and airport infrastructures in Europe and the Middle East, Giulio has worked alongside some of the sectors leading organizations. Most recently, he has been working with several airports to develop short and long-term strategies to support an efficient recovery from the effects of COVID-19, as well as working alongside ACI EUROPE to support the production of “Guidelines for a Healthy Passenger Experience”.

Air Tech Italy (ATI) is a new Trade Association representing Italian companies specialized in supplying products, technologies and services for airports and air-traffic control. Founded in 2020 under the institutional patronage of ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority), ATI is a hub of Italian excellence representing the most successful Italian companies in all airport-related fields.

As President, Giulio is joined by Vice President Alessia Forte, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ForteSecurGroup, leader in the integrated security sector, specializing in the security of critical infrastructure and corporate companies, has a business unit dedicated to aviation security issues with a focus on consulting, training and airport security services.

The recently launched website combines a comprehensive listing of key activities and a directory of Members categorised into Air Traffic Management, Airfield, Construction and Services, Engineering and Consultancy, IT, and Terminals.

The site will be of tremendous value to associations, operators and management firms around the world looking to engage the very best in the industry and will harness relationships and support initiatives driven by internationalization, innovation and sustainability in the creation of the “Airport of the Future”.
