A design concept through three main expansion phases

Kerman International Airport is the city airport of Kerman, which mainly operates domestic and regional air traffic. The aim of this project was to improve the Passenger Terminal experience and to increase the operational efficiency of the Airport.

The Concept design for the new Kerman International Airport has been provided taking into account three main expansion phases.

  • The first phase provides a design and build program in order to reach all the dimensional and functional features capable to manage the number of expected passengers (around 2,1 MPPA), offering an international standard level of service.
  • The second phase (year 2031 and behind) consists of a potential expansion of of the passenger terminal building, in order to handle the possible future growth of the passenger traffic at Kerman International Airport.
  • The third phase expands the terminal to reach the capacity of 10 MPPA
