RUNWAY END SAFETY AREA
The airport project foresaw the retrofitting of two runways and apron. The works include new paving layers (asphalt and concrete), and runway end safety area (RESA) improvements along with relative drainage system. The completed works with One Works overseeing the RWY 15-33 overhaul operations, now meet new airfield standards.
