Anwar Mohamed, Regional Director and Managing Partner of One Works, is a Singaporean Engineer Graduated in Civil Engineering at the National University of Singapore in 1996. He is also a LEED Green Associate and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators with over 20 years experience in engineering design, project and development management especially related to large scale real estate and infrastructure endeavors.
During his early career, he performed structure and civil infrastructure design of coastal developments, resorts and integrated business parks before embarking on project management for heavy civil engineering works such as large-scale land infrastructure and reclamation works and TBM deep tunnel works in Singapore. In 2007 he relocated to the UAE taking a Senior Vice President appointment to direct and manage numerous integrated mixed-use real estate development for JAFZA (a subsidiary of Dubai World).
As managing partner of One Works since 2010, he has been spearheading the expansion of consultancy services offer into international markets for commissions in design and management of several large scale real estate and infrastructure projects. More recently, he has been involved in the Design of Doha Metro Red Line North Underground, Design of Riyadh Metro Western Station and Downtown Station, tender support for Makkah Metro, King Khalid Airport AFU, Etihad Rail Phase 2 and many other works.
Giulio graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic in Milan and is one of the Founding Partners at One Works. He has over 30 years’ experience in masterplanning, planning, and design around the world, and throughout his career has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable infrastructures, whilst retaining a focus on passenger experience and quality.
With a great passion, he specializes in the planning and design of transport and aviation-related facilities and infrastructures, providing consultancy to operating companies and industry-related clients, as well as public-private partnership deals around the world. Seen as an expert in his field, Giulio has delivered a range of high-profile projects including the Master plan for the Italian Airports Network commissioned by ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority). He has also worked closely with ACI EUROPE to draft the recent Guidelines “Healthy Passenger Experience”, a celebrated publication that coincided with the ACI EUROPE and EASA agreement on the resumption of safe aviation.Giulio also plays a vital role in several industry associations, including President of the first Association of Italian companies working in the aviation sector – Air Tech Italy (sponsored by ENAC) and is a Member of the Scientific Committee of the Geneva UN Charter Centre of Excellence (ExSUF). In addition, he is also Scientific Director of DomusAir magazine – an exciting new editorial collaboration with Domus that focuses on airport infrastructures, mobility, and related connection, as well as the new relationship between physical and digital infrastructures.
Leonardo Cavalli graduated with a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and is a Member of the Italian Institute of Architects with over 30 years’ experience in masterplanning and design. Since establishing One Works, Leo has become an industry expert in successfully delivering designs that enhance and prolong an all-inclusive occupant and visitor experience.
During his early career, Leonardo was senior architect for Cino Zucchi Architetti (CZA) and a partner of urban planning consultancy. His background in academia, include the position as visiting professor of urban design at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura Venezia. Prior to this he was assistant professor in urban design at the California State Polytechnic University, Los Angeles and in architecture design at the Politecnico di Milano.

Leonardo most recently led the winning entry for an international design competition for Qatar Rail’s new Transport Education Centre (TEC) in Doha.
