Bergamo International Airport (BGY): Retail and F&B

Bergamo has become the third most active airport in Italy and a recognized low-cost gateway for Milan. In this fast-growing scenario, as part of the overall re-design and extension of the Passenger Terminal, One Works also reexamined the shopping experience at the Airport.

While introducing or replacing 13,000 sqm of GFA, high priority was given to retail and a new food court, increasing the height of ceilings and opening the view from the terminal to the surrounding landscape to allow vistas and natural light to flow in.

The airport food court is now a vibrant place where transiting and stationing passengers meet. It is an appropriate relaxing environment for people watching, where one can eat good food and have a refreshing drink.
