Italgas Property Redevelopment Masterplan

The masterplanning services concerned a feasibility study for the redevelopment of three distinct Italgas properties within the Venetian Basin viewed within an ongoing overall City Development Program. The Dorso Duro area, partly in co-ownership with the City of Venice, lies parallel to the Giudecca Canale reaching Piazza Roma with its northern vertex.

The Mestre Canal Salso area located in a central area of the city, currently subject to important interventions of brownfield reclaimation and redevelopment. On Murano Island, adjacent to the cemetery, with access from the Canale degli Angeli, a former gas factory dating back to the 1930’s with its original gasometer makes up part of the third complex.
