The Mykolaiv Industrial Park is a sustainable, versatile hub supporting key sectors like logistics, tech agriculture, and manufacturing. It serves as a crucial pilot project within the city-wide Concept Masterplan led by One Works, under the UNECE UN4UkranianCities initiative. This new park is strategically designed to foster innovation, drive industrial growth, enhance economic opportunities and technological advancements thereby supporting a swift recovery following the conflict.
The new industrial park is set to become a dynamic hub of innovation and industry, driving economic growth and technological advancements in the region. From an architectural perspective, the development is designed with cutting-edge aesthetics and functionality, featuring state-of-the-art facilities that blend modern design with operational efficiency.
High-Tech Logistics Center
Central to the park’s masterplan is a high-tech logistics center, which ensures the efficient and fast delivery of goods. This facility includes extensive warehouse complexes, robust transportation infrastructure, a dry port, and sophisticated long-term storage and cargo sorting capabilities.
The park will also host a diverse range of industrial enterprises, with sectors including small-tonnage shipbuilding, metalworking, machinery manufacturing, and industries such as food processing, light manufacturing, waste processing, chemicals, electronics, and energy. Each sector’s facilities are designed to optimize space and enhance productivity, while adhering to the highest standards of environmental sustainability.
Innovation Center
An Innovation Center forms the core of the park’s commitment to technological progress, providing state-of-the-art spaces for innovative enterprises and research laboratories. This center is specifically designed to foster collaboration and creativity, attracting top-tier talent and contributing to significant technological advancements.
Additionally, the Business Incubator supports emerging businesses, offering tailored spaces that encourage growth and development for small and medium-sized enterprises. This area provides a nurturing environment for young entrepreneurs, equipped with the necessary resources to help stimulate regional economic development.
To ensure the seamless functioning of all enterprises within the park, a comprehensive range of infrastructure and services is being developed. This includes advanced mobility networks, efficient communication systems, sustainable energy and water supplies, and other critical services. Architecturally, these facilities are integrated into the park’s design to support a seamless flow of operations and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal.
Enhancing Community Life
With its innovative design and strategic focus on sustainability, the industrial park is not just a place for business—it’s a landmark development that promises to reshape the economic landscape of the region, making it a flagship project for progress and a model of modern industrial architecture.
Part of the UN4UkrainianCities initiative led by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and the “Deep Blue Transition for Mykolaiv” Programme by the Ukrainian Association of Business Support Centers (UABSC) with support from the European Union and UN Development Programme “Mayors for Economic Growth”, the project underscores international cooperation in rebuilding Ukraine’s urban fabric to support economic recovery.
