The refurbishment project aims to strengthen the Shopping Centres retail activity acquiring, at the same time, an identity as a primary meeting place for the residential district.
Without intervening on the MEP systems , the restyling project has concentrated its interventions on the cladding Particular attention was given to the exterior façade; a new facade in coloured fibre cement panels gives visibility and a new identity to the shopping centre.
The new coating redefines the horizontal volume of the first floor and through the use of colour bands launches it vertically. The ribbon balcony openings, which run along the entire perimeter, are integrated into the volume through the use of full height perforated panels, which alternate with non-cladded portions, ensuring the passage of light and air.
In correspondence to the large terrace and the entrances, walls are finished with white aluminium panels, calendared to follow the sinuous course of the cantilevered roofing that juts out over the street, well visible from the nearby residential area.
