Oneworks was appointed lead designer for the new VIP Lounge at Verona Airport, a key element of the ‘Progetto Romeo’ terminal redevelopment. Located on the ground floor of the passenger terminal, adjacent to the existing boarding lounge, this newly designed space encompasses around 106 passengers.
The design prioritises an elevated passenger experience, creating an exclusive and tranquil pre-flight environment. To achieve this, the lounge is thoughtfully divided into distinct zones, including a welcoming reception with flight information, quiet perimeter lounges, a central social area, a work zone, a food and beverage area, and dedicated restrooms.
Characterised by a sophisticated blend of contemporary design and warm, inviting textures, the lounge’s aesthetic creates a calming atmosphere through a neutral palette of soft beiges and bronze. Wood flooring adds classic elegance, while vertical slatted partitions and dark-toned panelling introduce visual interest and depth. Pendant lighting with warm, diffused bulbs enhances the sense of relaxation and exclusivity. Strategically placed lush greenery introduces a natural element, contributing to a tranquil and refreshing environment.
The project delivers a premium VIP experience for Verona Airport passengers by creating passenger-centric spaces that prioritise comfort, functionality, and aesthetic excellence.
