As part of Interni‘s Cre-Action event during Fuorisalone 2025, we had the pleasure of presenting ‘Magma: At the Origins of Creativity’, an immersive installation created in collaboration with Whitby Wood.
Inspired by the dynamic forces of nature, Magma explores the ever-changing relationship between humans and the environment. The installation takes visitors on a journey through a fragmented, tectonic landscape, where shifting surfaces and corridors evoke the movement of Earth’s plates and the power of natural transformation.
Designed to provoke thought and reflection, the space is paved by Atlas Concorde porcelain tiles and bordered by vertical walls protected and decorated with vibrant red paint of Mapei, guiding visitors towards a central reflective element that challenges them to consider their role in creation and change.
The installation will be exhibited in the main courtyard of Università degli Studi di Milano until 17th of April.
