At Milano Design Week 2026, Oneworks officially presented Officina, the first tangible expression of our Interior Concept & Product Design Division. It embodies the natural evolution of our multidisciplinary approach towards a fully integrated design platform.
This is not an extension of services, but a shift in perspective. Architecture becomes a generative matrix for systems that connect space and product, including furniture, lighting, technical elements and spatial devices, all conceived as part of one coherent ecosystem. Through this approach, Oneworks is able to oversee the entire creative process.
The division is led by architect Andrea Sanguineti, whose international experience includes product development for leading brands such as Artemide, Poltrona Frau Group and Alias. His work combines design culture, material research and industrial innovation, shaping the Division as an ongoing laboratory where technology, sustainability and typological experimentation converge into essential, modular systems.
More than an exhibition, Officina is an open laboratory that makes the co-design process visible between Oneworks and a network of partner companies. Hosted at Oneworks’ headquarters in Milan, the products are displayed on a temporary architectural setup built from reused industrial materials. In line with a circular design approach, the installation is dismantled and repurposed at the end of the event.
The division’s first year of activity has focused on spaces of transit, including airports, stations, plazas, waterfronts, parks and commercial environments, where mobility, waiting and interaction intersect. The outcome is not a collection of isolated objects, but integrated systems of lighting, seating, shelter and shared infrastructure. Conceived as lightweight, modular solutions, they organise complex environments with flexibility and clarity.
